Tons of old school games on here, I like it! Not too many in the current Gen!

  2. Current gen deserves more than 6 games, I’m sure some of them will stand the test of time better than it seems currently.

    • I’m definitely not a hater of current generation gaming (I really like Dark Souls, for instance), but I haven’t been too wowed by much. If there’s any games you’d suggest I’d play, I’d be curious.

      • Well the Uncharted series, Assassins Creed 2 & Brotherhood, The Last of Us, Heavy Rain, Batman Arkham Asylum & City, MGS 4, The Walking Dead are 11 really good games that are all worthy of top 200

  3. Very Cool list! I know i spent hundreds hours playing most of these games. I was surprised that Xenosaga was so high on your list. I remember playing that and thinking, “Why are there so many cut scenes!?” There was one part after a cut scene your put in empty room with a door and when you walk through the door its another cut scene. Nonetheless, cool list.

    • Thanks for the comment! I think Xenosaga gets a bad rep for having too many cutscenes, but what I think the magic of the games is the scope of their story. Tetsuya Takahashi (the creator) aimed so high with these games (he wanted to make six, but only got to make three) and I think that’s pretty respectable. But yeah, there are a ton of them.

  4. Hi, I think your blog might be having browser
compatibility issues. When I look at your website in Firefox,
it looks fine but when opening in Interfnet Explorer,it has some overlapping.
I just wanted to giuve you a quick heads up! Other then that,
    amazing blog!
